Merchant setup

Set up the channel in a few minutes from the embedded app in your Shopify admin. The app has three tabs: Home, Connect, and Settings.

1 · Install

Install Terminal Commerce. It opens embedded in your admin and requests only the scopes it needs.

2 · Check catalog readiness

Use Home to check that products are active, published to the Online Store, available in the relevant market, and in stock. Shopify's storefront publication and availability settings determine native UCP visibility.

3 · Open Connect

Copy the merchant-owned Shopify UCP endpoint. There is no Tilda endpoint token and no separate shopper login.

4 · Test with a compatible client

Use a reviewer- or shopper-controlled UCP-compatible client to search the published catalog. See Connect a UCP client.

5 · Continue in Shopify

Cart operations and checkout URLs come from Shopify. The buyer reviews and completes the purchase on Shopify-hosted surfaces.

Tilda does not receive shopper queries, carts, customer information, checkout URLs, orders, addresses, or payment data in this edition.
